Is it easy to communicate with people who don’t speak the same language? Explain.
Would you have a penfriend? Why? Why not?
Is it good to study foreign languages as early as possible, or to start later?

3- Click on the pictures – they will take you to some LANGUAGE phrases idioms or vocabulary.
- Check out the new phrases and lexis you can use.
- Take notes on phrases or words you don’t know or don’t remember.
- Choose your favourite phrases/idioms and think about when you can use them.
- Share with the class.
4- Watch the video and take notes.

5- Look and talk.
- According to the pictures, discuss the following questions:
- What would you do to make a pen pal friend?
- What would you ask him/her?
- Would you meet him/her? Why? Why not?
- Where can you make foreign friends?

- To sum up, is it easy to make an international friend?
- You can have a pen pal friend, what information will you want to know about him/her? Could you be an outgoing person even if you didn’t know the person?
7- Watch the video and take notes.
- Listen carefully and analyze the idioms, phrases, or phrasal verbs.
- Listen and write some of them that you would use when speaking in a regular conversation.
- Pause the video as needed.
- Share with the class.
