What is the most popular place to go shopping near your house? Explain. 

If you had one million dollars, what would you buy?

Do you prefer big shops or small shops? Why?

What do you not like about shopping?


Do you buy famous brand clothes? Explain.

What would be the most essential purchase for you?

When is the best season to buy clothes?

What are the cons of buying frequently new items? Explain.

Is shopping a big hobby? Explain?


3- Click on the pictures – they will take you to some shopping phrases, idioms, or vocabulary.

  • Check out the new phrases and lexis you can use.
  • Take notes on phrases or words you don’t know or don’t remember.
  • Choose your favourite phrases/idioms and think about when you can use them.

  • To sum up, what do you have to consider when purchasing something?
  • You want to buy useful things for you, and your family, how would you choose the best options?

 

7. Watch the video and take notes.

  • Listen carefully and analyze the idioms, phrases, or phrasal verbs.
  • Listen and write some of them that you would use when speaking in a regular conversation.
  • Pause the video when you need to.
  • Share with the class.
