What makes a place famous? Explain.

If you wanted to take some tourists to visit important places in your city/town, where would you take them? Why?


Does the place where you live have good infrastructure?

How much does it take you to go from your house to the downtown? Explain.

Is a city important because of the places it has? Explain.

Do you like the place you live? Why?

What places would you include in your city/town? Explain.


3- Click on the pictures – They will take you to some places phrases, idioms, or vocabulary.

  • Check out the new phrases and lexis you can use.
  • Take notes on phrases or words you don’t know or don’t remember.
  • Choose your favourite phrases/idioms and think about when you can use them.
  • Share with the class.

  • Listen carefully and analyze the idioms, phrases, or phrasal verbs.
  • Take notes on what you can use when speaking in a regular conversation.
  • Pause the video as needed.
  • Share with the class.
