Music
Music liking is something that people always have a word about and personal opinions about a type of music being better than another one is something that may lead to discussion or even arguments. What nobody can deny is the fact that all types of music leave an impact.
Music can be relaxing, angering, soothing, energizing, and many more. Rap, pop, rock, country, indie, alternative, hardcore, etc. are some of the many types of music there are out there, it’s plentiful. Another thing that can’t be denied is music being used to send messages, either good or bad, it is their impact that influences the way people act.
People make friends easily if they have the same or a similar taste in music. You will see them hanging out any possible time going to places where they can find or get more of their music. On the other hand, although it should not be a problem, it is not that easy for them to socialize with people with a different taste due to the fact that they will argue about what’s better or worse. But, in the end, it is just personal opinions.
Let’s take a look at some types, Rap and Rock, for example, they are two very important types of music in the world. They both send messages to help kids, to talk about problems in communities and to talk about feelings, dreams and hopes. They are both also used to send violent and dark messages, though.
Some people agree that the lyrics are just word-playing to hide the inappropriate topics; topics parents may not want their kids to get contact with. Besides, the content on the videos can be used to prove this point right. This is to say that the lyrics also get a connection with the fans. However, music can be used to bring to life new ideas.
When people get the chance to listen to new things, they learn the world is not that small. It is a big door to enter a new world full of different things and ideas. So becoming open-minded may be the key factor to understanding the other. Music can be used by people to express themselves, in ways that wouldn’t be possible to get with actions or other forms of art.
You can usually say how someone feels by looking at them and knowing what music they are listening to at the time. In other words, people use music as a tool to express their emotions.
In my opinion, the effects that music has on the listeners, just like me, must be used as a tool to help themselves understand who they are.
