16. Throughout my life, I have had good friends. We have had great times together, _____, I can tell I only have two best friends.

17. Andre was the first best friend I made. He was born two months before me. When I was born, _____ my mum and his mum were best friends! Can you believe that?

20. We have been friends for about 14 years now, but we lived near each other for about 13. Last year, I moved to a little town in California. It was not a big deal, though. Our new house was about 25 minutes away from our old house, so Andre, Julie and I have always found ways to hang out almost every day. Last Christmas, we had Andre and Julie’s families over to share dinner. _____, that’s us, are best friends, too! We like being with them, but after a while, we go elsewhere to talk about us, you know... best friends are the right people to share your secrets with!
