• Try the following Preparing Practice.

 

2.- Listen to the audio, “Mark’s routine”.

Teacher: Pause the audio and make questions, for example:

• How many days per week does he go to school?
• What time does he take a shower?
• What time does Mark take breakfast?

 

 

Reading – pages 4-5

3.- Read the text by paragraphs.

 

4.- Listen to your teacher, read and answer.

1.- Review vocabulary from the last lesson – talk about activities.

 

2.- Make a link to the reading by talking about ss’ routines.

 

3.- Listen and read. Then make students some questions about the text. Remember to keep it simple.

1.- Reading

Tell students about buddy reading. It is taking turns reading by sentence or paragraph. Explain to them that you want to help them get better at reading – among other benefits, this type of reading lets students feel support while doing.

• Remember to make some gist questions – keep it simple : )
