Unit 1 Lesson 7 – Day 1

 

1.- Look and tell what you can see in the picture. Then read and talk.

• What clothes can you see?
• What colours are they?
• Would you like to wear any of them?

 

2.- Listen to your teacher and talk. 

• Look at the children’s faces, how do they feel? Why?

 

3.- Look, read and choose the correct answer.

 

4.- With your teacher – Page 39.

 

Unit 1 Lesson 7 – Day 2

 

1.- Vocabulary review.

a) Try the following Preparing Practice.

 

      b) Teacher explains what part of the body is covered by clothing and ss choose words.

e.g.

• 1.- This covers your neck!
• 2.- You wear this on your neck when it is cold.

scarf            trousers            glasses            socks            sweater            shirt

dress            shoes            coat            hat

 

2.- Listen to the audio, ” Clothes!”.

• Teacher: Pauses the track at the end of each kid’s line and makes some questions using what, where, why, how, when, why, etc.

 

 

Reading – pages 40 – 41.

3.- Read the text by paragraphs/lines. Get ss to analyze the text.

 

4.- Listen and follow. Make ss some random questions about the text.

Unit 1 Lesson 7 – Day 3

 

1.- Get ss to tell you what the text was about.

• Review vocabulary from the last lesson – Make a Bingo Card and Play.

 

2.- Make a link to the reading by talking about ss’ experience.

• What clothes do you like wearing?
• What colours for clothes are your favourite?
• *If still working online, go get three of your favourite clothes – tell the class about them.

 

3.- Listen and read.

• Read the questions on page 42 (activity 1 only) for ss to focus on the information they need from the listening.

4.- With the teacher – pages 42 – 43.

 

 

Unit 1 Lesson 7 – Day 4

 

1.- Recycling – review – T says whose clothes to describe.

• 1.- It could be mum, dad, brother, sister, etc.
• 2.- It could be by showing some pictures selected in advance.

 

2.- Teacher – add a game-like activity to review vocabulary.

 

3.- With the teacher – page 44.
